National Innovation Diploma (NID) now National Diploma (ND)
The National Council for Education, at its 59th Meeting held at the International Conference Centre, Abuja, deliberated extensively on the National Innovation Diploma (NID), being awarded by Innovation Enterprise Institution (IEIs), and its implication on the academic progression of its graduates.
Arising from the discussion, the National Council for Education decides that the nomenclature of National Innovation Diploma (NID) should henceforth change to National Innovation Diploma (ND), for ease of progression and admission of ND graduates into Polytechnics and Universities.
